Huttanahalli betta[ hill ]- Near Bangalore

It is a very good picnic spot, there are two temples on the hill, Akkayamma and shiva temple. Interior there is Bheemeshvara temple. Many devotees[ especially childless ] come here and do pooja on tuesdays and fridays, where they take a dip in a kalyani before pooja.

My Short period trip to Dehradun

I have been to Dehradun{ Uttarakhand } on 23/08/2012 to attend an PhD interview at FRI University, Since my home town is Bangalore it took 3 days to reach Haridwar, where i had booked the room, To be specific i took Karnataka Express from Bangalore{ 7.20pm 19/08/2012 }, i was still in the WL 9 on 18th so i had to get tatkal ticket, it was pleasant experience for me in the train because i had booked AC 3 class.
I reached New Delhi{ NDLS } on 21/08/2012 at 10.30am exactly as per time, Then i waited in waiting room which is well maintained, took a bath there and got into Janshatabdi and reached Haridwar at 7.20pm the same day. I had booked room in Golden Hotel, Haridwar,  single bed{350 per day}, Hotel is nice and the supervisor is also nice, he opened Hotel door at 4.00am everyday of my stay for me.

Then on 22/08/2012, I took a dip in Holy Ganga river{  Hari ki Paudi }, it is an fantastic experience, i can never forget that in my life, Ganga at Haridwar was clean and was flowing with full force, it is somewhat whitish in color, Then i visited Manasadevi and Chandidevi on the same day, i had planned only to visit Manasadevi temple but when i was climbing down, auto rickshaw driver forced me to visit Chandidevi also, passengers in it were friendly and they also shared fare with me, they also guided me while climbing, at the same time i also visited Kankhal with them, all of these places have got there own stories, but since i had gone over there to attend the interview{ also because of Shortage of time } i didn't bother to know much
about them.

Then on 23/08/2012 i cached an Mussorie Express{6.00am} travelling towards Dehradun and reached station at 8.00am. Then by auto{ Took 120Rs } i reached FRI, University at 8.30am to attend my interview scheduled at 10am. After the interview i visited Beautiful Entomology museum over there. On the same day i went to Mussorie by bus, but unfortunately it was raining, that's why i didn't got very good pics. Mussorie is an must and see place for those visit Dehradun, It is popularly called as Queen Of Hills{ 2000mts Height }the roads are narrow, and there was mist, but driver was not in a mood to slow down even at corners, so most of the passengers including me were nervous !

Kaivara & Kotilingeswara

Hi Everyone,

I have been to Kaivara and Kotilingeswara, near to Bangalore, both places have got there own stories, in kotilingeswara you can see nearly a crore{means Koti} Shiv linga, it is a very beautiful place, to go over there you will have catch an train/bus from bangalore. By train you can reach in 2.30 hours, you will get train at K.R.Puram, Bangalore and you will have to get down at Bangarpet from there it is around 10Km.

To reach Kaivara you will have to get Chintamani bus{KSRTC} from majestic. It will take around 2 hrs from bangalore, Then from Mainroad of Kaivara, you have to rent auto{300Rs for up and down and waiting charges}. Kaivara is very nice place for those who love nature. Once you are there you can know why is it named as Kaivara [ It is actually because of an godman kaivara tatayya, who lived around 17Th century and he has written a book about future]
